How can I volunteer?

We always are looking for dedicated volunteers who in the deepest part of their souls are compassionate and have a passion about helping their fellow woman and the homeless specifically, call us today for a application and interview. Due to the Population we serve only female volunteers will be considered and accepted. It is our hope in the future we will also be about to serve the male populations as well but we do not shelter men at this time. Men can be of help in others way and we will reach out at the times needed. This is about protecting women during specific traumas in their lives they may have suffered. We want to always provide safety and sanctuary at all times in this space. Thank you for your understanding and your  cooperation.

Where is SHS and how do I get there? 

A crime or religious liberty feeding the homeless? Is arresting a 90 year old WW2 veteran who is acting as the hands and feet of Jesus right or WRONG????WWYD????? WWJD? Feed 5000 plus! SHS  will too!!!

Safe harbor sanctuary is located in Southern California. Because we work with Women and Youth who are often victims of Domestic Violence and Sex Trafficking our locations physical Addresses are not published. We are part of a National Network to protect Victims which saves their lives from their attackers. Thank you for understanding this sensitive information. Saving lives comes first.

What are the hours SHS is open?

Safe harbor sanctuary is a 24 hour agency that accesses and meets the needs of their clients day or night. Call if in crisis and you need help. We service teen young and mature women ages 18-100. Female veterans please make sure to let us know you served, we want to make sure we thank and acknowledge your service, you are welcome at safe harbor sanctuary as all women in need are.  If you are in danger please call 911 and get to safety.

Our office, shelters, and

transitional housing is open 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week. The needs of the women are great and we aim to meet those needs in the day and midnight hours... Alert us immediately if you are a victim of Domestic Violence and are in need of rescue transportation to safety. Get to safety then call us with your location for your Safe harbor sanctuary rescue. At this time we are only sheltering women 18-100, Due to the nature of the traumas, many of the women have suffered, all shelter and housing staff and security will only be Women. Thank you for understanding.
