We are a Plant Based Agency

 (Vegan Diet) organization promoting optimal health and nutrition through plant based food choices,  Culinary Training along with nutritional education. All meals served will be plant based in all Shelters, Transitional Housing as well at all Events associated with Safe Harbor Sanctuary.

Possible Menu, Vegan Linkette Hot Dogs, Big Franks, Vegan Sausages, Veggie Burgers, Juice and Smoothie Bar, with The Best Southern Homemade Strawberry Lemonade in The World!!!! Again all items served will be Plant Based always. 

 

Our Mission

Safe Harbor Sanctuary, A Social Services Agency aims to foster hopes and dreams by empowering Women, Female Veteran’s, LGB Women and Families to reach their highest potential. Reuniting families when at all possible especially mothers and their precious children. We aim to foster dreams of each hierarchy of needs through Stable Housing, Education and Job security. Building Self-Esteem for each guest in every area of life. By doing so we contribute in helping to rebuild strong communities which is paramount. We want to return what has been given to those leaving the program and support those coming in. We will build A Village of Sisters aiding Sisters (My Sisters Keeper), Each One, Teach One, Reaching many. We all need help at times even us the President/Executive Director, Administrators, and Staff, no one is immune from falling and needing help back on our feet!!!! We get it and will help in any way we can to help elevate you to the best possible you!!

 

Our Vision

Safe Harbor Sanctuary Social Services Agency aims to be the influential leader in the lives of Teen young Women, ages 18-19, Women’s Services, Family Reunification Services, Homelessness, Mental Health, Social Service and Street/ Community Outreach arenas. We aim to set trends that showcase our passion and committed to underserved communities by ending Homelessness, Secure Stable Housing, promote Education Services, Job Placement and supplying Acute and ongoing Addiction, Mental Health therapy & support services. Ending the cycle of Homelessness for Young and Mature, Women, Female Veteran’s & Families. Ending the Homeless cycle with improved mental and physically health is the ultimate goal. Teaching each who enters our Sanctuary that they are Valuable and Furiously and wonderfully made our circumstances do not define ones worth and value. Our guest will be shown respect at all times and will be showered with compassion and love at all times. Ones dignity will never be compromised at SHS. Feeling Safe always at Safe Harbor our #1 priority. 

 

Our Values

Safe Harbor Sanctuary Promotes Wellness and promotes fitness of Mind, Body and Spirit, Nurturing Souls to live not just exist.  We Teach, Coach, Foster Empowerment,  Independence, New Beginnings, Diversity, Lasting Change, Advocacy, with Compassion and LOVE, starting with Homeless Street and Community Outreach. We offer equal access to all areas of need promoting a Clean and Sober Lifestyle where any Alcohol or Drug usage is shunned in all areas of life. We teach living a Clean and Sober Lifestyle is to be celebrated and honored in all aspect of life. There is no place in any Safe Harbor Sanctioned events for Drugs or Alcohol. Promoting optimal Wellness is key here at SHS. All events will be Dry at all times, Drugs or Alcohol will not be tolerated ever, anyone violating this edict will be eliminated from all events and facilities and banned from any and all Safe Harbor Sanctuary property and events.  ( excluding new clients who are in the belly of the beast whom SOBRIETY will be celebrated and honored at all times no exceptions whatsoever!!!!! We want to keep a clean environment for all who struggle and are winning the battle of addiction. 

 

 

Regardless of Race, Age, Religious Affiliation, Marital Status, Ethnic Background. ALL WOMAN ARE WELCOME HERE that fall into the category of population we serve.  Everyone will be treated with respect and dignity at all times!!!!! Dignity is free and we all are entitled to it.  Being treated with kindness and respect is the only way you will be treated at SAFE HARBOR SANCTUARY. If you receive anything less let us know immediately. We have a zero tolerance policy for rude, disrespectful and unkind treatment by the Staff or other Guest. Perpetrators who are bullies, show disrespect and unkindness will be swiftly dealt with…..this is our promise and commitment you all of our guest!!!! Safe Harbor Sanctuary is our Work Home and you are our Guest and will be treated as such at all times.

 

SAFE HARBOR SANCTUARY is a 501(c)3 Non- Profit Organization (pending) that cares for Homeless Woman, Homeless & Runaway Teens 18-19, Women who are Victims of Domestic Violence, Victims of Sex Trafficking, Female Veterans, Teens Emancipating out of Foster Care ages 18-24, as well as all who are struggling with Homelessness, Hunger, Mental Illness and Substance Abuse Addiction and Alcoholism. We aim to serve 1000  Female Teens/Women, per month. Serving undeserved Communities of the 6 Counties of Southern California ie: Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego. We will provide Crisis Emergency Street Teams to access and pick up any woman who is in need of emergency transportation due to Domestic Violence, Street Outreach, Emergency and Temporary short term and Long Term Transitional Housing,  Shelter housing for Teen Girls 18-19, Women (Domestic Violence and Female Veterans) , Transitional Housing, Rapid Re-housing, Permanent Housing Placement and Support services for Homeless prevention, Counseling for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Rehabilitation Referrals, Family Preservation, Wraparound and Mental Health Services for Female Teens/Young Adults, Women and Families. We will offer a Safe place and Safe space in Safe Harbor Sanctuary. At this time we only offer Shelter and Housing Services to Teen Girls 18-19 and Women. Referral, Food, Some Counseling and Wrap Around Services are available for Families in efforts to reunify when Court ordered and when a member of the family is a guest on first come, first served bases.
